    • Location : F3 of the Incheon International Ferry Terminal (specific location undecided)
    • Area : 188.77㎡
    • Purpose
      • To provide education on safety regulations and responses to marine accidents that passengers must be knowledgeable about, as well as job exploration and hands-on experiences related to marine safety for youth
      • To help youth remain safety-conscious and recognize the importance of learning to respond to and protect themselves against accidents from an early age
    • Target : Elementary, middle school, and high school students as well as individual visitors and terminal users (Advance booking required)
    • Open hours: 10:00-17:00 on weekdays
Marine Safety Experience Hall

Experience Center Training Course [Basic-90 minutes]

  • Hands-on training on safety
    • Understanding the international code of safety equipment and signage for ships set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO)
      • Signal to abandon ship: 7 short blasts followed by 1 long blast
    • Training and practice wearing a life jacket
      • Practice for how to wear a life jacket and throw a lifebuoy, etc.
    • Training on releasing, launching and boarding a life raft
      • Practice for boarding a life raft
      • Explanation of life-saving equipment such as emergency food and survival training
    • Video review training for the above courses
      • Video training on ship safety rules, survival equipment and first aid
  • Training on rescue, first aid
    • Training the operation of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
      • Understanding of the AED and practice for the steps to use an AED properly
    • CPR
      • CPR practice using Annie (practice doll)
    • Training on full-mask breathing in case of abandoning ship and a drowning accident occurs
      • Practice for wearing a lifesaver full mask and breathing under water
  • Youth career exploration program
    • Maritime-related career exploration, practice for immigration procedures at international terminal, etc.
  • Other related activities, boarding the Eco Nuri and field trip to Incheon Port
    • Exhibition Center for Lock Gate tour and vessel operation simulation

  • Location: Incheon International Ferry Terminal(57, International Port Daero 326beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon)
  • Open hours: 10:00-17:00 on weekdays(closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays)
  • Program: Marine safety equipment experience and first aid education
  • Target: Children, Adolescent, Adults, Groups
